Foreign Trade University & The University of Queensland Seek Internship Opportunities for i-Hons Students in Hanoi
Foreign Trade University, in collaboration with The University of Queensland, is currently seeking internship placement opportunities for students enrolled in the i-Hons programme - a flagship international education initiative designed to equip students with strong academic foundations, global perspectives and practical business skills.
Delivered fully in Vietnam with the option for students to complete their final two years in Australia, the i-Hons programme focuses on International Business and Business Analytics, combining international-standard education with practical industry exposure. Students participating in the programme are trained to work effectively in professional English-speaking environments and are encouraged to develop analytical thinking, adaptability and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
As part of the internship programme for the K63 cohort, FTU is currently looking for businesses in Hanoi interested in hosting approximately 25 to 30 internship students for a five-week placement period from early July to early August 2026, with flexibility depending on company requirements.
Participating businesses are invited to provide opportunities across a range of functions relevant to International Business and Business Analytics, including information on available internship positions, role descriptions, candidate requirements, internship benefits (if applicable), workplace location and application procedures.
This initiative presents an excellent opportunity for businesses to engage with highly motivated young talent while contributing to the development of Vietnam’s future workforce with strong international capabilities and business acumen.
The internship programme is coordinated by Dr. Cao Thi Hong Vinh, who also serves as a Lecturer at the Department of Economics and Management under the School of Economics and International Business at FTU.
