AusCham and CPA Australia Vietnam Explore Strategic Collaboration Opportunities

Hanoi, 05 March - AusCham Vietnam Vice President Mrs. Natalie Fairlie recently met with Ms. Hien Nguyen, Regional Manager (CPA Australia North Vietnam) , and her team to discuss opportunities to further strengthen collaboration between the two organisations.

During the meeting, AusCham congratulated CPA Australia on the remarkable milestone of its 140th anniversary in 2026. Over more than a century, CPA Australia has established itself as one of the world’s leading professional accounting bodies, playing an important role in advancing professional standards and strengthening financial and governance capabilities across global markets, including Vietnam.

The discussion was highly productive, with both sides exploring ways to expand cooperation not only through community engagement and professional development activities, but also through policy dialogue, knowledge sharing, and thought leadership initiatives. Such collaboration can contribute to strengthening the quality of professional expertise in the market while supporting a transparent, resilient, and globally connected business environment in Vietnam.

Looking ahead, AusCham and CPA Australia Vietnam will work closely on several upcoming initiatives, including a webinar on the 2026 Economic Outlook in March, a joint event on Transformational Leadership in the Disruptive Era in April, and activities associated with CPA Australia’s 140th Anniversary Reception in Hanoi in May, which will explore how ESG, energy transition, and global standards are reshaping the finance profession.

These initiatives will provide valuable platforms for dialogue among business leaders, economists, and policy stakeholders, while further strengthening engagement within the Australian business and professional community in Vietnam.

CPA Australia expressed its appreciation for being part of the AusCham network and looks forward to continuing close collaboration with the Chamber to enhance professional capacity, promote thought leadership, and contribute to the deepening of Australia–Vietnam economic and trade relations.

As the largest and only organisation representing the Australian business community in Vietnam, AusCham reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with its members across sectors to ensure they receive meaningful support and opportunities to engage, collaborate, and contribute to the continued strengthening of Australia–Vietnam business and trade ties.
