On 26 March 2021, the Government issued Decree 31/2021/ND-CP (“Decree 31”) providing guidance on the implementation of the Law on Investment 2020. Decree 31 came into effect on the same day, replacing a number of decrees, including Decree 118/2015/ND-CP on investment in Vietnam and Decree 83/2015/ND-CP on outbound investment.
