Richard Nguyen, Founder of Playfair Advisory and based in Hanoi, brings over a decade of experience across financial services, consulting, and cross‑border business between Vietnam and Australia. His background includes financial risk management at Ernst & Young Vietnam, financial services work in Sydney, and leadership in a Vietnam–Australia real estate joint venture supporting Vietnamese investors entering the Australian property market. In February, Richard was appointed as an interim Board Member of AusCham Vietnam, and in 2024 he was a finalist for the Chris Donnellan Young Businessperson of the Year (U40) Award.

Managing business activities in both Vietnam and Australia, Richard works closely with investors, entrepreneurs, and companies navigating cross‑border opportunities. His work also focuses on workforce mobility, supporting skilled Vietnamese workers to contribute to Australia’s labour needs.
