Jodie Altan is the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor, Engagement at RMIT University Vietnam and a member of the university’s Executive Leadership Team. With more than 30 years of experience in higher education, she leads key external‑facing functions that strengthen RMIT’s reputation, including Communications and Marketing, Events and Student Recruitment, and Industry, Government and Community Partnerships.

Before joining the Vietnam leadership team, Jodie served as Director of Global Student Recruitment at RMIT Melbourne, overseeing teams across India, Indonesia, Malaysia and China. She also held senior roles at Monash University, including Director of Student Recruitment and Deputy College Head for residential services, giving her extensive experience working across complex, multi‑country environments.

Jodie holds an Executive MBA from RMIT University and degrees from Monash University. Having lived in Ho Chi Minh City for nearly three years, she is committed to contributing to the community and strengthening Australia–Vietnam engagement.
