The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia (CCIWA) - Global Bulletin from Perth, Australia - May 2009
World Chambers Competition sets high standards
CCIWA competed in the 'Best Unconventional Project' category of the World Chambers Competition, held as part of the 6th World Chambers Congress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 3-5 June, which was attended by over 900 delegates from Chambers in 90 countries. Our project, "Apprenticeships Australia" was presented by Ann Campbell, General Manager, Apprenticeships Australia. For further information please visit www.cciwa.com/appswa
The standard of the presentations in all categories of the Competition was very high indeed and we would like to congratulate all the winners and finalists. We would especially like to congratulate the winner in CCIWA's category, Oslo Chamber of Commerce, whose Chief Executive, Lars-Kare Legernes, demonstrated to the audience the operational and financial success of their Expat Service Center INN International Network of Norway. INN is a concept that can be easily replicated in other Chambers and the Oslo Chamber is inviting enquiries from interested Chambers. For more information visit www.innexpat.no or contact Benedicte B. Finnema, Commercial Director, Oslo Chamber of Commerce benedicte@chamber.no.
