| Details: | The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AusCham) turns 10 years old and we will be celebrating this milestone with a Gala Dinner on the 7th of November at the Sofitel Plaza Hanoi. We look forward to welcoming both members and non-members to come and celebrate with us. AusCham is committed to representing and promoting the interests of Australian businesses and individuals operating in Viet Nam. Originally established in 1995 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City as independent initiatives, in 1998, with the passage of legislation on foreign business groups, the two groups formally combined to create the Australian Business Group of Vietnam (ABGV). The Ho Chi Minh City Peoples Committee issued ABGV's license in 1998. This was one of the first business group licenses issued. Following registration of the initial charter, it was amended in January 1999 to provide for the Chapter structure, which was approved and registered in mid 1999. This event will be a great evening and funds raised will go to charity. We are writing to ask for your support for this year’s charity event and are asking for sponsorship by way of cash or in kind.
